Who these terms are between
These terms cover work performed by Leads For Owners, the lead generation brand operated by lilAgents, for the client named in a signed agreement or an accepted proposal. Our mailing address is 5900 Balcones Drive, Austin, Texas 78721 and you can reach us at hello@leadsforowners.com. Where your signed agreement says something different from this page, your agreement wins.
You own everything, starting on day one
The website, the domain name, the hosting account, the ad accounts, the email sending accounts, the customer records, and any source code we write for you are yours. They get registered in your name, billed to your card where that makes sense, and we work inside them as a collaborator rather than as the owner. You get this on day one instead of at the end of a term, so there is never a point where your business depends on us keeping the lights on for you.
What happens when you leave
You keep all of it. We remove our own access, hand over any login we are holding, and transfer anything still sitting in an account of ours. There is no exit fee, no transfer fee, and no waiting period while an invoice clears. We will not hold your assets hostage and we will not disable a site or an ad account to make a point, so if you ask for your things back, you get them back.
Billing and cancellation
After any initial period stated in your agreement, the engagement runs month to month. You can cancel with written notice and you owe us for the month you are in and nothing past it. Ad spend, software subscriptions and data costs are billed to your own accounts unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, which is one more reason those accounts belong to you.
What we promise and what we do not
We promise to do the work described in your agreement, to tell you what we are doing and what it costs, and to say so plainly when something is not working instead of dressing up a bad month. We do not promise a specific number of enquiries, a specific cost per booked job, a ranking position, or a revenue figure, and anyone who does is guessing. Results depend on your market, your pricing, how fast you follow up, and how many other people are competing for the same attention, and most of that sits outside our control.
Your responsibilities and liability
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us about your business, for following up on the work we send you, and for holding whatever license and insurance your trade requires. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before a claim, to the extent the law allows. This page is placeholder text pending review by our attorney, so read it as a good-faith description of how we actually operate rather than as final legal language.
